Mrs. Norma Bangerter hosted a luncheon on the lawn for about 150 persons. There were 50 cancer survivors and a partner in attendance, and each received a small plaque from the American Cancer Society. They were given a tour of the bottom floor of the mansion afterwards. Howard and Geraldine Powell, Vernal, and their daughter, Patricia Sanderson, and three children, Sacramento, Calif., picked up Mrs. Powells mother, Zola Spencer in Neola, and travelled to Salt Lake Saturday, July 23. The Powells attended a Powell reunion in South Jordan to honor Dean Powell of Duchesne for hia 87th birthday. Mrs. Spencer took in the Days of 47 rodeo, and visited a sister-in-laViolet Spencer, in Bountiful Sunday, and her two eons, Rawlin and Barbara Spencer in Magna, and Sheldon and Sandra Spencer, Kearns, and their families.
