Show MAIL IN REGISTRATIONS Beginning Fall Quarter 1987 students may register through the mail by requesting a registration form and returning the form and a check for the correct tuition and fees to the USU Education Center. DROPS DEGREE PROGRAMS CURRENTLY AVAILABLE THROUGH USU UINTAH BASIN CENTER Drop and add cards will be issued by the Vernal and Roosevelt offices beginning on the Monday of the second week of the day of quarter. Through the twenty-fift- h instruction, a student may be permitted to drop classes without notation on his or her transcript. Beginning on the twenty-sixt- h day, courses dropped will be indicated on the transcript and reflect withdrawal (W). Withdrawals shall be permitted on the students initiative though the twenty-fift-h day of the quarter. The term 'conditions beyond the students control" includes incapacitating illnesses which prevent a student from attending classes for a period of at least two weeks, a death in the immediate family or other emergency that requires a students absence for a similar period of. time, financial responsibilities requiring a student to alter hisher course schedule to secure employment, a change in work schedule as required by employer, or other emergencies of this type. Documentation of the circumstances cited to justify withdrawal is required wherever possible. Under no circumstances is withdrawal after the day permitted for the purpose of avoiding an unsatisfactory grade; neither shall "N" or T grades be given to avoid the consequences of inadequate performance.
