Loretta is a graduate of Union High School, Weber State College, and is currently attending Angelo State University in San Angelo. to church and civic duties, Loretta is active in the Business and Professional Women's Club and is serving as the Second She is employed as a Registered Nurse at St John's Hospital Renal Care Center. Dale is a graduate of the University of Maryland, and is currently attending Angelo State University. He is serving in the United States Air Force, stationed at Goodfellow Air Force Base in San Angelo, Texas. The couple plan to make their home in San Angelo, Texas. They plan to make their home in Roosevelt All friends and relatives are invited to attend the reception from 7 to 10 p.m. at the Neola ChapeL Vice-preside- NEWS Orinda Gee Dorothy Mickelson went to Salt Lake Thursday where she attended the funeral for a sister-in-la- Maureen Mickelsen. Dorothy and Maureen's husbands were twins. Clint used to live in Duchesne years ago. Caroline and John Breakfield went to Grand Junction, Colorado last week for a few days. They were doing some sight seeing. They called home Saturday night and found out that their son Steve had gotten hurt so they returned home. Nellie Lang went to Durango, Colorado where she spent ten days visiting with her daughter Donna Maloney celebrates 80 years Karl Maloney, Bluebell, will be celebrating his 80th birthday Saturday, June 13 in Salt Lake City at an open house. Phebe Giles of Ogden, Christine Nation of Bridgeland and Vickie Fitzgerald and her daughter went to Grand Junction, Colorado last week to attend the wedding reception for Michelle Nielsen and Frank Moore, Michelle is a granddaughter of Christines. Christine Nation of Bridgeland, Phebe Giles of Ogden and Annie Mezenen went on a ten day temple tour with the Wilkens Bus. They attended the Manti, St. George, and Jordan Temples in Utah. The Oakland and Los Angeles in California and went to Disneyland. They spent a night at the Hourst Castle in California. Mike and Beckey Young of Monticello are the proud parents of . Ginger Peterson of Neola and Fred Priebe of Upalco will be married June 20 in the Neola Ward Chapel. A reception will be held that evening from 7 to 10 at the chapel. An outdoor summer dance is planned at the Altamont Community Park on Friday, June 12. The theme of the dance is "Surfin' Safari. The dance will begin at 8:30 p.m. and will feature music videos. Jodie Evans and Carl Reiley were home from Snow College for Mother's Day and spent it with Emmett and Dorothy Evans. Kipp and Helen Merkley had all of their children and families home for Mothers Day and their father's birthday. Rose Marie and Dale Schmutz and three sons of Challis, Idaho, Debra and Wendell Moon and five children, Marilyn and Brent Crittenden and three children of Coalville, Steven and DiAnna Merkley and four children. LaRue Bell from Sacramento, California and Josephen and Wayne VanDee Graff of Calexico, Cali- - fornia spent a day visiting with a sister Veva and Bill Tollefaon and a brother George and Edyth Marett. The family went to Roosevelt and picked up their father Marvell Marett and went to Vernal where they all had dinner together. LaRue spent Wednesday night with her sister Veva. There will also be an awards program to present awards and name those going to the state competition' from all the contests held previous to the style revue. During the day, other members will be competing in de4-- H 4-- H Goodrichs plan 50th celebration Duchesne County Fair, but the state competition has been moved to the first part of July, so the county contests have been moved ahead accordingly. This way, the local winners will be ready to participate in the state competition. This year the enrollment for the style revue has doubled according to extension economist, Barbara Mathis. She said the program looks good. The theme will be "Shopping Spree Sewn by Me.
