He epjoyed fishing, was a plumber and was employed at Basin Builders in Roosevelt He is survived by bis wife, Betty of Gusher; two daughters and a ami, Mrs. Mel (Connie) .Jordan, Lany and wife Kathy Vanlaningham, all of Milford, Indiana; and Mrs. Dirk (Roxie) Russell, of Gusher; four granddaughters. Alice Dean Beal Dean Beal, 81 of died November 8, ' 1986, at the Duchesne County Hospital following complications of a massive stroke. She was bom September 17, 1905, in Attica, Ohio, to George Clarence and Nancy Nowlan Dean. She moved to Utah with her family when she was nine years old and 'they settled in Juanita, Utah (which is now Duchesne river road) where her father taught school. She married Austin Alma Beal August 25, 1925, in Vernal. They lived in Antelope and Bridgeland most of their lives, moving to Salt Lake in 1956 where they operated a nursing home. In 1970 they retired and moved to Altamont where she resided until her death. She is survived by four sons and five daughters; Keith Beal and Dean Beal both of Salt Lake Alice Altamont, , : . He was bom February 6, 1930, in Mesa, Arizona to Ira Ernest and Ethel Shill Hancock. He married Coleen Collett June 26, 1954 in Mesa, Arizona. She married Charles Ephraim Taylor July 5, 1934 in Lewd: later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. ' Gra- duated from Wayne High School' Lived in Loa where whe worked at Harward's Store as clerk for 10 years. Then moved to Salt Lake City and most recently lived in Roosevelt. Employed at ZCMI, Salt Lake City for 20 years. Active in the LDS Church, serving in all the various Auxiliaries. Bruce Raymond Vanlaningham, 61 of Gusher, died November 9, 1966, in the V.A. Hospital in Salt Lake City of life. He is survived by his wife, Isabel, of Kearns; three daughters and one son, Mrs. Allan (Wilma) ODriscoll, Myton; Emmett Hayes, West Valley; Dorothy I vie, of Duchesne; and Mrs. Jim (Opal) Ledbetter, of Myton; 23 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.
