Thomson. The Call to Worship was given responsively and the Prayer of Confession in unison. The Epistle Lesson was from I John 1:5-1Tne Old Testament Lesson was from Genesis 8:1-- 5 and the Gospel Lesson Tne sermon was Matthew 11:18-2was entitled, Let's Talk About Sin. Pastor Thomson reminded the congregation that when we pray, "forgive us our debts or our trespasses, we are really talking about our sins. We sin when we try to ourselves in the be like center of the universe and trying to make things revolve around us. Were guilty of ain when we put ourselves first and ignore the needs of others. When you oeeome tuned in with God, you become more aware of the hurts and needs of others. We need to confess our sins and then let that part of our past go so it no longer separates us from God and from other people. We can do this with God's help. Following the affirmation of Faith and the Prayer of Thanksgiving, Pastor Thomson extended the Invitation to the Lard's Table. Holy Communion was served with Elders Smith and Fifield assisting Pastor I God-putt- Sunday, July 3, Pastor Troy Richardson's sermon The Blood of 9:11-2Christ". Hebrews Pastor Riehardson stressed the important of blood, stating blood is the life of the flesh. All ains have to be atoned and God made this possible through his son Jesus Christ. Through Christ's blood as we walk in the light of God, jrarifies us from all sin, therefore, we all become equal before God. It is not by heritage, silver, gold or any perishable thing wo receive eternal redemption, but by the precious blood of Christ alone. The Lord's supper was observed in remembrance' of Christ with Thanksgiving. Tera Richardson received a pin for twelve weeks of perfect attendance in the G.A.'a. We are proud of Tera for all she is doing. , ing Scouts. rl For additional information contact Susan at 7222797. Duchesne Ent J.C.
