By following a few simple tips, you can do much to reduce home heating costs. Some people are paying to heat "the great outdoors" by keeping the windows open in the room where the thermostat is located. This rooms becomes colder, and the thermostat continually "calls for heat." Close the window or lower the thermostat setting. Those people who prefer an open window while they sleep should keep their bedroom doors closed. Another way to cut heating costs is to keep all shades and draperies drawn tight after the sun goes down so that the heat will remain inside longer and not escape through the windows. Storm windows help tremendously as do double-pan- e thermoglass windows. Incidentally, storm windows may still let some cold air in. so be sure that all cracks around windows and doors are sealed. Also, insulate properly or youll lose a lot of heat. Another must is to have your heating system inspected by a qualified heating contractor to insure that it is operating at peak efficiency. the group will dig up their artifacts at their class reunion and have a good laugh over them. 30-ye- FrontIer TravlI ANd Tours 155 South Vernal Ave. Vernal, Utah 84078 Business or vacation Travel ISOTcuitb M 1 Harvest Ball King and Queen at Union for 1981 are Darrell Gillman and Christina Harrison.
