They sent him to Los Angeles, Calif., for heart surgery. The Harold Thomas went out to see him off. Blake Rasmussen, Ballard, was hurt in a truck accident in Clay Basin. He was flown to Salt Lake to LDS Hospital where his was operated on. His mother is Eline Rasmussen Merk-leand he is a nephew of the Harold Thomas's. The Troy Bailey family reunion was held on the Strawberry River July 24. Contestants are judged on 10 categories: dedication to the advancement of Indian people, ability to communicate and speak before an audience, poise, potential Indianness and appearance, Indian dress, scholastic achievement and interest, skills and talents, scope of interest and knowledge of governments and ability to get along with people. The reigning Miss Indian America is between a cultural ambassadress Native Americans and She has speaking engagements, makes public appearances, participates in conferences conducted by federal state, loral and tribal governments and visits schools and Indian Students at Myton will start Elementary school in a newly constructed building.
