This new- communications setup now allows physicians anywhere in the hospital to talk via telephone to members of the helicopter flight crew while the 'craft is still enroute to a health ears facility. An ongoing refinement of the flight crews response time is another area which has improved during Life Flights first year, says Dr. Clemmer.
