Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Marett, Weston, Idaho, visited a day and night with the Marvell Maretts and other family members. e Wayne and Josephine VanDeGraff, Calexico, Calif., spent a couple of days visiting last week with the Marvell Maretts, the George Maretts and the Bill Tollefsons. They drove along with Josephine's parents, the Marvel Maretts, on their way to Calexico. e Venla Gee spent two days in Salt Lake last week visiting with her mother, Mabel Therm ing e Jim and Linda Schow bad their baby girl blessed Sent 24. e Jeanie Lisonbee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Lisonbee, received her mission call to the New Zealand mission. Arnold Remund, son of the Glen Remunds, also received a mission call to the San Jose Calif, mission. Members of the Keith Corvan family that was here to take part in the blessing of their little son included: Bobbie Wat-kin- s and sons, Ogden, and Jum Adamson, Salt Lake. Word has been received that Jim Elison, who has been living in Salt Lake, was found to be very sick. He was rushed to the Veteran's hospital, where he was put in the Intensive care unit. spent 10 days visiting Oroville, Napa, in Calif., through the Redwoods and went to Idaho Falls to visit with the Walt Nelsons. The group was touring the northeastern part of Utah to see how state and federal funds are being used to help Seniors and to gain an insight as to where help is needed. Tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 18, the lunch is in Duchesne and the menu is as follows: Spaghetti and meat sauce, buttered peas, green salad with dressing, bread, butter, donut, milk or Sprite and coffee. The Tuesday school lunch Oct 17 is at Tabiona at 1 p.m. There is a good possibility that the bus will not run because of the trip to Zion and Bryce, but we will pay mileage to anyone who can bring a carload. The menu is fish fillets with tartar sauce, peas, whipped potatoes and gravy, cabbage slaw, apple crisp with topping, bread, butter and milk. The dinner dance for Saturday is cancelled. Numbers 1 to call are 8 and The big news last week was the Citizen Board's visit to Roosevelt and Duchesne. The group missed visiting in Roosevelt because they were delayed two hours, however last Wednesday, Oct 4, they did meet in Duchesne at the Duchesne center.
