Show Sowards new church area representative Glade M. Sowards 0f Vernal, formerly president of the Vernal Stake of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints, has been named regional representative of the Council of the Twelve of the church for the Vernal Region, serving most of the Uintah Basin. Ue replaces John M. Scowcroft Jr. of Salt Lake, whose post as regional representative has been changed from this region to the Heber City and Springville area. Also the George Bill and Maretts Tollefsons. Kennith Bench, his wife and family came to Salt Lake two weeks ago Alamosa Colo., taking their small son to St. Marks hospital for surgery. Also Colleen Bench Clause of Salt Lake had their sons leg operated on. Ken and Colleen are son and daughter of Edmund and from u Canyon last week. They had over 200 family members present for a program and games and food. Rusgell Young, son of Pat Young, returned from a week's vacation in the San Francisco Bay Bench. The Benchs made several trips into Salt Lake to see their grandchildren in the hospital. RoseAnna Connie and Kim Mullins and Craig and Kathy Kelsey shared a vacation trip to Nev. Disneyland, Calif., and Old Mexico. Woody had his left eye operated on last April.
