A sketch and write up on him will appear in the daily newspaper this week, according to reports. Tabiona, which is perhaps the smallest high school in the state, has had this honor twice now. The first quarter of the game was a toe to toe battle between the two teams. As the period ended, however, Union was up by one point, 19 to 18. Union was able to control Carbon's scoring during the second period, allowing them only 12 points, while the Cats dumped in 21, for a half time score of 40 to 80. Boys little league ball tourney set The Myton boys basketball little league tournament will continue this Thursday evening, as teams work toward the championship. Playoffs will begin Thursday at 5 p.m., with the championship games starting Saturday at 6 p.m. The tournament is being held in the Myton elementary school, under the direction of the Myton City recreation program. It is directed by Russell Gingcll. Teams include boys between the ages of 9 and 12, not past the 6th grade in school. Winners of the first round of play 1 " f - Ktr 5 2 Ls include Myton No. 2 team, who beat Altamont; Mountain Home, winning over Neola; Todd, over Tabiona, and Myton No. 1, over Duchesne. The schedule for Thursday evening will see Altamont and Neola pairing off in the opening game. Then Tabiona will play Duchesne; Myton No. 2, against ML Home, and Myton No. 1 competing with Todd. Mr. Gingell also stated that a similar tournament for girls will be held during the first part of March. Four teams are now entered, with others anticipated.
