Firemen can no longer ride on the back of a truck. The new Y truck comfortably carries six two firefighters instead that could comfortably ride in the old truck. The main reason for the purchase is safety, and this definitely meets our needs, said Slade. Santa delivered a new truck also loaded with new equipn ment, including a a generator, Caterpillar motor, a big deck gun, a bigger pump and more room all the way around.
