With the win the Buckaroos solidify their position in the 1A standings, with the dominating win over the Rams. In marked contrast to the game the prior week; where the Buckaroos went to the air to defeat the San Juan Broncos, this victory was almost entirely on the ground. The Bucks completed only one pass in the contest, and that was midway through' the fourth quarter. With the Ram defense and cold and wet conditions combining to stop the Buckaroo passing attack, Monticello turned to the running game. Buckaroo running back Kyle Curtis had a monster game, scoring five touchdowns and ' racking up rushing 240 yards to pace the Buckaroo victory.
