A quarrel and a scuffle between Clive Stewart, state game warden, and James Skakel, Moab rancher, almost had a fatal ending Thursday afternoon in front of the Co-o- p store on Main Street, when a gun exploded wildly, the bullet grazing the right side of Valjean Westwood's face, passing through his ear- "The trouble is said to have arisen over the damage being done by beaver to fences on the latter's ranch property in the lower part of the Moab valley. It is stated that the two men talked on the phone about the matter, and that the game warden accused the rancher, who has his property posted, of feeding grain to wild ducks, which is against the law.
