Show THE ZEPHYR APRIL 1 990 These are drawings done In pen A Ink, and pencil. They are a small sample of my brother's talent They may not seem extraorcflnary, but he certainly was. My brother Randy died In February of this year, from a brain tumor. He fought heroically, a long hard battle. He was without doubt the bravest person I will ever know, and also the funniest Spending time with Randy was like being with Alex Travek, Garrison Keeler, and Groucho Marx. From him you could get Information on any subject, a lively story, and a half dozen sarcastic one liners, all In a matter of minutes. He didn't take life too seriously. Through five operations and dozens of complications, he never gave up, or even complained. He kept his sense of humor, but he didnt keep It to himself. His passion for life end his appreciation for people were so apparent that even when he was unable to speak, he was still able to touch peoples' lives In a very real and wonderful way. The way he lived his life was a tremendous Inspiration to many. I am grateful for this opportunity to share a little part of him with you. I would like to extend thanks to all those who were touched by him, those who have given their love and support to my family, and I would like to thank Randy for showing us all that one person really can make a difference. - Becky Knouff PAGE 17 |
