Elected to be the chairperson for this years council is John Bugbee with Barbara Hawkins. Chosen to the council at the district meetings will be represent Barbara Hawkins and Curtis White. Topics discussed for this years planning include upgrading the playground, investigating spelling programs, investigating a program, resources for field trips, developing a community resource list for the school, a satellite dish and greenhouse. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, October 2 at 6:15 p.m. at the Elementary School Media Center. Child fingerprint program . On October 2, 3, 1983 the Post Crime Prevention Office will be sponsoring the Child Fingerprint Program. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to building 5438 (ID & Registration) between the hours of 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. either day. Photos will be taken of each child and attached to the fingerprint cards. If hair samples are to be included, the hair must be combed or pulled out (do not cut). Other information that will be needed are: blood type, scars, date of birth, height, weight, race, place of birth, parents full name and address and phone number. This information will be recorded on the fingerprint cards. For more information, call SSG Terry at 228 1 . If your children were fingerprinted last May at the Elementary School, they will need to be refingerprinted . . in October. At a special citizenship day ceremony at Dugway Elem-- . tary Tuesday these two lovely ladies, Jennifer Gross and Heidi Olson, joined Principal Ellen Hurst and Dugway Post Commander Col. David A. Nydam in addressing the students. The girls read their award winning essays that were chosen by the committee to appear below in this issue of the Sampler.
