This year the marching band is led by Jef Liddiard, a sophomore at Dugway High. Last summer, he attended a United Spirit Association Camp that taught him some of his flashy moyes .. and discipline. while conducting. . Mr. Nielson feels that he will be-- , come a very fine drum major in his next two years at Dugway. Overall, Mr. Nielson feels the band did respectable but they didnt perform to peak, but the Friday, when the Mustang r y d r , they were ready to take the v. trophy. The Mustang band marched to difficult routines while playing Espania. Then the drums played a percussion feature to the Can-Ca- n with the brass .sect ion playing the Bum Melody on their , mouthpieces. He was a graduate from B.Y.U. where he was a member of the Cougar Marching Band program and various other entertainment groups..
