END OF CHICAGO STRIKE both sides pred ct trouble will be settled this week chicago it is freely predicted by both members of the employers association and labor leaders that the teamsters strike will be a thing of the past before the end of the present week to one 0 the officials ol 01 the chicago federation of labor th strike will be called off entirely by the strikers themselves As a step toward this end it was decided at an execl tive meeting of the chicago federa alon of labor to begin missionary work with members of the teamsters joint co acil an endeavor will ba made to bring a majority of the of ficiala to favor calling the strike oft when this has been accomplished these members of the joint council are to advocate jauch a course to the sank ers and finally a referendum vote ol 01 the strikers is to be taken
