nephi sheet makes another bad break the nephi record came out last week with a long tirade against county clerk jacob coleman among other things the pettifogging editor of that sheet accuses mr coleman of neglecting the duties of his office but anyone who has had any business bui iness to transact with the clerk during the last eight months knows that such statements are untrue the record knows this and simply published the article in question in an endeavor to get even with mr coleman because he refused to allow the publisher of that sheet to get in hill graft at the expense of juab county the record made a malicious attack upon william andrews the former clerk for exactly the same reason mr coleman s predecessor refused to allow the nephi record to rob the county out of a few hundred dollars on election supplies and after that nothing was too low for the publisher of that news paper is his effort to injure mr an drews now the record attacks mr coleman and the reabon is very plain the record wants to do the county printing it has been grafting off the county for years and is fighting mad because the eureka reporter is furnish ing the county with printed supplies and saving the taxpayers money it has only been a short time since the record published a column or more of abuse and lies regarding sheriff white head simply because that gentleman saw fit to order a legal notice published in the eureka reporter county superintendent of schools geoage A has also came in for considers con sidera ble abuse during the past few montha for no valid reason of course this may be in line with the business meth of the nephi record but we will wager a few had earned dollars again a peanut that it is not swelling the re of that newspaper to any great extent mr coleman is handling the affairs of his ofhie capably and the nephi record can him by the publication of libelous articles such as appeared in the last issue
