ENDED THE PUPS CAREER tra n ng in a back yard was not su ted to the street owns a ten weeks old bull terrier pup registered as cutson but known as plain cut in the neighbor hood formerly came home from work in the evening and set promptly about the training of cut almost any night ou could see him out in the back yard a knotted rope around his head the ligaments of the pup were not yet firmly tied nor his muscles banded together he threw himself after the swinging knot reminding ever body but of a chunk of gelatte but the jaws of the pap and the sound delighted the soul of it cut closed on the knot it was up to dynamite or a 1 nite to cut the rope now in the daytime cut entertain ed himself in the backyard snapping at the red white and blue articles of apparel which the clothesline was good natured enough to swing for him again it cut closed successfully it was up to the department stores there came a windy day and on this windy day ill fate destined that the grocery boy should leave the back gate open oh no cut did not run awaya he just smiled and wobbled himself out to the front walk and waged his cigar stub at the passers by now there tripped along a femi nine masterpiece gowned in shining and immaculate duck and a rascally wind shook certain white ruffles for cut you know the breed it was miles to a department store pitts burg dispatch
