These are a few of our goals and are all goals that were and formulated accomplished by the hard work of the dedicated staff at the hospital. In most seems to sell newspapers, the medias (fortunately not our own home town paper) have had a “hay day" in taking what was an honest attempt of our physician to correct a substance abuse problem, and have turned to "dirt" digging up any that ‘they could find. Because of the loyalty and understanding of the fine folks of our service area, this apparent attack has done nothing more than solidify the communities loyalty to their physician. The cards, phone calls and flowers have verified the support that is needed for his recovery. We can only hope that when the "dirt" settles Dr. Spaulding realizes the support that he has here and elects to stay. This hospital nor the community can afford to loose him, we need him as much as he needs us. In most larger communities, to replace the skills Dr. Spaulding has would take three Doctors ie; obstetrician, surgeon and a family practitioner! perceive my jobs as many, however utmost is to make collected. community can trust their lives too. Our hospital is not in the position to carry the large sums of monies that we are currently carrying in our accounts receivables. September Employee Month : Sharon Sanders was named as employee of the month at Milford Valley Hospital for September. The award was presented by Sheila Barton. Sharon, who works in the dietary department, has worked at the hospital for an overall total of 17 years. She took some time off to raise her family, but returned to work full-time on October 12, 1986: Her co-workers describe her as cheerful, a good worker, fun , and a great cook. It is the general consensus in the hospital that Sharon makes the very best cookies. |
