Mayor Wiseman called the regular meeting to order . at approximately 7:00 p.m. Those in attendance were: Councilmen Carter, Sower, Dotson, Holm, and Thomas, Recorder Netto, Treasurer Griffiths, Attorney Kanell, Leadman Whiting, Dave Hurst, Mark Whitney, Ron Wunderlich, Dick Tatia Bradshaw, Rollins, Beverly Erickson, Dennis Johnson representing South Central Telephone, and Alice Smith representing the Dodge City News. 2. Dave Hurst asked the Council to deed over title of the alley to property owners in the Railroad Addition. This alley was vacated by the city approximately ten years ago. Council advised him to talk to other property owners, get their signatures and prepare a Quit Claim Deed for the Council to sign. 3. Council held a discussion on providing water and sewer to new development in the Lewis Addition. Leadman Whiting stated that the City needs a new truck line for the sewer system in order to develop new homes in this area. Possible sources of revenue were discussed. 4. Ron Wunderlich, Beaver County Economic Development, reported on information he had received from attending the Community Development Block Grant meeting in St. George, Utah. He presented a list of what Milford would need to do to apply for this grant. Councilman Sower | motioned that a Public Hearing be held October 3, 1994 at 7:00 p.m. for evaluating the CDGB Grant, Councilman Thomas seconded the motion, all in favor. 5: Dennis Johnson, representing South Central Telephone, met with the Council to encourage them — motioned that PAGE 8 building bill or notice of tax deficiency to a taxpayer's to support the sale of the Milford Exchange by U S West to South Central and to answer any questions the Council might have. 6. Tatia Bradshaw, Milford Airport manager, asked the Council for permission to put out bids to spray the hangers for Black Widows. Leadman Whiting was instructed to take care of the problem. She also discussed the Airport Hanger Lease and third party clause, Attorney Kanell will check into a waiver. Councilman Carter motioned to pay expenses for Tatia Bradshaw and Councilman Carter to attend the Fall Utah Airport Operations Conference, Councilman — Dotson seconded _ the motioned to accept the bid from Cover Pools for a winter tarp for the swimming pool, Councilman Dotson seconded __ the motion, all in favor. 14. Attorney Kanell presented a _ Building Inspection Agreement and the changes he had made to the Council to study before making a decision. 15. Councilman Sower motioned to postpone the next Council Meeting until October 3, 1994, Councilman Thomas seconded the motion, all in Security Number. Councilman Holm Leadman Whiting was instructed to put out bids for three tons of fertilizer at the golf course and grass seed to comply with closure of the City Dump. 12. Councilman Holm Councilman Sower stated that the next meeting for the Advisory Committee will be held Wednesday, October written. 8.
