Show The Library Corner The Ephraim Public Library Is observing American Library Week April 18 13 with special activities for everyone of all ages On Tuesday a tea was held between 3 and pm p.m. at which time a special display of nearly 50 new volumes was available to the public These books have been donated to the library In memory of Mrs Flora J. J Thorpe Members of Mrs Thorpe's family were special guests at the tea During the week a display of art work done by junior high school students under the direction of Mrs Betty Barton has been on display Elementary and junior high students have enjoyed story hours and book talks prepared especially for them Citizens are Invited to visit the library during the remainder remainder remainder remain remain- der of the week and broaden their horizons Acquire the lIbrary li library lI- lI habit Look up and read t t at n T June Cox and Enid Graser daughters of Mrs Thorpe look over the books purchased with the memorial gift gut funds |
