This rapidly approaching season always manages to captivate almost every person, whether it le through Christmas shopping for presents or alxiut anticipated hours of gifts. With only 20 shopping days left until Christmas, the shopping lxiom is striking a severe blow as the stores and shopping centers already resemble a can of packed sardines. As countless package-hidde- n shoppers crowd the stores, hopes of getting the most from their Christmas budgets and MEL KYSER not forgetting anyone on their lists seem foremost on their minds. Tlie haggard and dazed look on most individual's faces is quickly liecoming a trademark of the season. Preparing for Christmas Just as shopping fills the minds of the Test Center personnel, many groups are preparing for Christmas dances, parties, and meetings. Tlie Dugway Youth Activities Club is sponsoring a Tiite Elephant children aged Christmas Dance for pre-tee- n nine to twelve. Tlie dance will lie next Thursday, Decemlier 10 from 6:30 until 8:30 at the Teen Club. Everyone will be admitted free and there will also lie free snacks and drinks. The music will lie provided by Bill Monroe and his extensive tape library. All youngsters who are planning to attend the holiday party should bring a While ... pre-tee- activity. The Sandy Acres Service Club is also getting into the holiday spirit with several activities scheduled on the agenda. There will lie a Christmas Dance and a special 12. The program on Saturday, Decemlier 8:30 and will at begin monthly dance to invited attent. is everyone King Cousins Another highlight on the Christmas activity calendar is the "Christmas With the King Cousias" show. This free attraction will lie Tuesday, December 15 at 8 p.m., and everyone is welcome to attend. The Officers' Wives Club also plans to dive into the Christmas pool of activities with a party for the memlier's respective children. The XCO Club will likewise follow suit with a party for all the children of club memliers. Both parties are tentatively scheduled for the week proceeding Christmas. For the remaining children on post, the annual Christmas party at the Post Theater will lie held on Decemlier 23. At this party, the children will have an opportunity to meet and talk with Santa. Clans as well as receive candy and goodies.
