Show Strategic wants OK to tie knot In a long awaited develop- ment Strategic Automated Systems International and Phoenix based Block Investment Company have announced their intention to merge. The acquisition rumors, which have persisted for nearly two months, moved Strategic Autos stock from two cents bid to 27 cents at last weeks close. According to the agreement, Block Investment maintains the right to 85.5 percent of all income of its subsidiary, Superblock Sales, Co., also of Phoenix. Superblock markets and manufactures a new concrete block which inventors claim will reduce the labor costs of construction substantially. Making the announcement in a shareholder letter was Blaine Taylor, a promoter who arranged the merger. Taylor will become a member of the board of directors of Strategic Auto. The companys letter also scheduled a special stockholders meeting for May 15 in Salt Lake to approve the merger and vote on a name change to Superblock Indus- tries, Inc.
