Sherwin Williams Co. continues to be named as the de- FIAT 6520 Mercedes Service Franchise fendant in negligence suits stemming from an April 9, 1977 fire at the store it was leasing at 4701 Holladay Blvd. The latest complaints were filed by Michael and Charles Amott, owners of Amotts Treasure Chest and the Holla-da- y Art Frame Place, located next door to the Sherwin Williams store, and Associated McCullough Enterprises, the lessor. The Amott complaint, filed in Third District Court last rental losses of $5,379. The suit is also asking $100,000 punitive damages. Co-defend- m, Associated McCullough, a 'Utah limited partnership, is suing as owner of the building leased to Sherwin. The fire and resulting explosions, the suit claims, caused real damages of $111,722, $20,000 in independent owners time and Trademark dispute filed A legal action involving trademarks has been filed in the Third District Court by Kindon Habbershaw against Nobel, Inc., a Denver based food company. Habbershaw, who conducts business in Utah as Nobel Food Products, is asking the court to issue an injunction preventing Nobel, Inc. from using the name in Utah. The action also asks for damages to be determined by the court. The complaint alleges that Habbershaw registered the name Nobel as a trademark with the Utah Secretary of It State on Oct. 31, 1977. further claims that Nobel, Inc., and Nobel Food Products are in direct competition and are engaged in the same SL firm completes Idaho motel Sojourner International, a Salt Lake based hotel development firm, announced last week its new Ramada Inn in Pocatello, Idaho will open on Feb. 15.
