USUs program is just a few years old, but will graduate 40 MBAs in 1977, and is working rapidly towards accreditation. The University of Utah's MBA program is stable, with yearly graduates Counselor Elaine numbering around 150. School officials report, without exception, that business graduate students are finding professional employment quickly and with little difficulty. At the University of Utah, placement officer Francis Hoopes reports 95 of the June MBA graduates will have taken jobs by the time they don their black robes. The other 5 percent, she says, are probably just being choosy. As of the end of April, 80 percent of the schools MBA graduates had signed on the dotted line, and the others will have absolutely no trouble finding jobs, according to Placement Director Wayne Hansen. At Utah State University, officials dont keep close tabs on MBA job hunters, but Paul Murray reports the schools MBA graduates are probably the most successful campus group at finding over-qualifie- d.
