Martin Doors Adds Service Department Through Acquisition Martin Overhead Door Co., Salt Lake, has acquired the assets of Steorts Automatic Door Service Co., also of Salt Lake, for an undisclosed amount of cash, according to David Martin. Former owner Bob Steorts has agreed to operate a service department for Martin Doors. He has left his 3022 South State location and moved to the upper level of Martin's office, warehouse. showroom facility at 2766 South Main Street. Steortzs inventory, Martin said, consisted of two trucks, various lubricants, radio control parts and automatic door opener parts. Steortz is a radio service technician and has serviced remodeling a portion of its warehouse to accommodate the newly acquired service department and the company also recently added 4,000 sq. ft. of floor space and a large parking lot.
