THROAT CLASS FOR MOTHERS A class designed to help mothers of children will get under way at the YWCA, Oct. 10. Instructing the course, entitled "My Child and Me," will be Helen W. Smith, specialist in early childhood education. Some of the subjects Mrs. Smith will discuss indude ages and stages of emotional development; ways to stimulate intellectual development; how to build self-- esteem in your child; how to help your pre-scho- ol youngster develop reading readiness. Play center activities will be available for children while mothers are attending dass. The course will be taught during the fall, winter and spring.
