The couple will be married Friday, Sept. 12, in the Logan LDS Temple. They report that the trip was very successful and most enjoyable. On Saturday Mr. and Mrs. Mortensen attended the Holiday on Ice show at the Salt Palace. The Mortensens were thrilled with spectacular performance on ice, and say it was well worth the trip to Salt Lake. They would recommend it to any- one. Mr. and Mrs. Lennis Chambers served Sunday dinner to family members in honor of their daughter Angela who was baptized and confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-da- y Saints. Those present at the dinner were Mr. and Mrs. George (Mary Ann) Mayfield and children, Lynette and Spencer of Ogden, Mr. and Mrs. Keith (Cathy) Karren and son, Christopher of Lewiston, Mrs. Tacy Chambers of Smithfield and other daughters at home, Cindy, Teresa, Jane and Angela. After their honeymoon they will live in Logan and Elizabeth Loosle Thompson, and received his education in Cache Valley and later attended a barber school in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Thompson was also born in Clarkston, a daughter of George J. and Rachel Buttars Myler. She also re- ceived her education in Cache Valley. They were married in the Salt Lake Temple Sept. 9, 1925. Following their marriage they lived in Clarkston and later they spent some time in Idaho Falls where he operated a barber shop. In 1933 they moved to Garland where they established their permanent home where My. both in Clarkston and Garland.
