Her husband, Vernal (Pete), works at the sugar factory in Garland. They are parents of five children, Ila Marie, Salt Lake City; Alan, Paula, Annette, and Kristine. Marie was born in Malad, Idaho, daughter of John J. and Leona Williams. She graduated from Malad High School and also attended USU. She is now serving in the ward as MIA advisor and Relief Soceity teacher. - ' ji. , WORKING MANS DINNER Brown hamburger and onions. Put in bottom of dripper casserole pan. Add 1 pint of string beans and 1 can of cream of chicken soup. Cover with layer of mashed potatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheese, put tin foil over if wanted. Bake at 300 degrees until heated good, about 20 minutes. MEAT LOAF 2 lbs. hamburger 2 eggs cup milk cup dry bread crumbs 2 teaspoons salt !i teaspoon pepper z cup carrots (grated) cup onions (cut fine) Beat eggs and put rest of ingredients in. 4 1 1 Meat taaf Topping cup catsup tablespoons prepared mustard tablespoons brown sugar Mix and put on meat loaf for topping. Cook for about to 2'z hours at 300 degrees. 4 ' 2 2 3 ENRICHED WHITE BREAD (Two Loaves) cups sifted enriched white flour (about cake of yeast, softened in 4 cup lukewarm water 85 to 90 degrees F., or 4 tablespoon granular yeast softened in '4 cup warm water, 110 degrees Place in Mixing bowl: 2z cups scalded milk 3 tablespoons shortening 3 tablespoons sugar 1 tablespoon salt When milk mixture is cooled to 90 degrees, add 4 cups sifted flour. Beat well, then add the yeast. Add enough more flour to make a soft dough. Mix until the dough forms in an elastic ball in the bowl. Cover and let rest 10 or 15 minutes. This rest will relax the dough and make it easier to knead. Add enough flour to knead well, 10 to 15 minutes. When dough is smooth and small blisters develop just under, you have kneaded enough. Put in lightly oiled bowl, let raise until it triples, about 1 hour 40 minutes. Punch down, turn it over and cover. Let raise 40 minutes. Punch down again. Turn it over and let raise 20 minutes.
