Mrs. f died Thursday in the ' . jan hospital of George Anderson Memorial funeral services for George Reynold Ander- son, 66, were conducted Thursday at the Lindquist and Sons Mortuary in Ogden. Mr. Anderson is a native of Richmond and he died Saturday at his home of natural causes. He was born Dec. 22, 1908, in Richmond, a son of Charles Henry and Maria Nilsson Anderson. He married Clara Louise Armstrong Jan. 27, 1956, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. A tile contractor, Mr. Anderson was owner-operatof the Anderson Tile Co., and a member of the LDS Church. Survivors include his widow; a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Marilyn) Sehlhorst, San Diego; stepsons, Gary W. Samples, Billings, Mont.; A. Bruce Samples, San Jose, Calif., and five grandchildBurial was in the mond City Cemetery. cancer. 85, former Logan optometrist who died Tuesday in a ERNEST HAWKES ASHCROFT Ernest H, Ashcroft Funeral services were conducted Wednesday for Ernest Hawkes Ashcroft, 70 Hyde Park in the Hyde Park chapel by Bishop Earl A. McKenna. Mr. Ashcroft died at his home Sunday of natural causes. He was born Nov. 9, 1905, the son of George Franklin and Sarah Hawkes Ashcroft. He received his education at Hyde-- ' Park Elementary schooland North Cache High Leland Pulsipher Funeral services a ere conducted for Leland Guy Pulsipher, 78, Thursday at the Paradise Ward chapel with Bishop Loy Watts of Logan Fifth Ward officiating. Mr. Pulsipher died Monday afternoon of injuries received in a truck-aut- o south of collission on Logan. He was born Jan. 10, 1897, in Brigham City, to Orson H. and Martene Olsen Pulsipher. On June 29, 1926, he married Ila Eliason in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Sept. 29, 1967. Mr. Pulsipher then married Vera H. Peart June 19, 1968, in the Logan Temple. Active in the LDS Church, he has served in the bishopric of Avon and Paradise Wards, was a home teacher, and at the time of his death, an officiator in Logan LDS Temple. He was a member of Logan Fifth Ward, and a High Priest in Cache East Stake. For 42 years, Mr. Pulsipher was an educator in the Cache school district, having taught in Avon, Cache Junction, River Heights, Benson, 5, Paradise and Providence until his retirement. Also, he farmed, along with his son Guy Ray Pulsipher, in Avon. A Cache resident for 67 years, he went to Avon in 1908, and had lived in Logan for the past seven years. Surviving are his widow of Logan; three daughters and two sons, Guy Ray of Avon, Richard Lee, Paradise; Mrs. Allen (Renee) Sorenson, Bountiful; Mrs. Rudy Bonnell, Van Nuys, Calif., and Mrs. NaVee (Gloria) Thomley, Logan; four stepchildren, Rodger and Gordon Peart, Randolph; Mrs. Clayton (Joyce) Longhurst, Brigham City, and Mrs. Bruce (Sandra) Bingham, Mountain Home, Idaho. Also surviving are 18 grandchildren; seven greata brother, grandchildren; Aldon V. Pulsipher, Ogden, and two sisters, Mrs. Mabel Miles, South Ogden, and Mrs. Vernon (Winona) Law, Logan. LELAND GUY PULSIPHER Ward Relief Society was held on Tuesday with Homemaking Day under the direction of Totsie Barker. The Homemaking lesson was given by Marlene J. Larson. This special day was for mothers and their daughters. The homemaking project for the day was two quilts were tied and drawn for.
