On Dear Readers, Christmas cant be a singular thing. It has to be shared by others in order to know what Christmas is all about. After counting the some 40 columns Ive written during the last nine months Ive come to the conclusion that writing a column cant be a singular conouest either. Without the kind remarks from people on the street as well as ideas offered from friends the columns keep rolling along and therefore answer the endless question of, Where do you get all the ideas? December the 20, Christmas program was given by the Bel Cantos. Following the program refreshments were served and a social hour enjoyed. There will be no more meetings until January 3, 1975. The bus to the Rose Pa- rade leaves December 28. Anyone desiring a reservation can call Elva Clark at preferably in the evenings or the Senior Citizen Center at or Ila Johnson at 752-391- 8, 752-945- 6 WELL, THE TIME has come to reveal all. I send the merriest of greetings to Monte Olsen, owner of MONTS MARKET in Franklin, Ij his idea of me writing about the contents of my purse. After watching me delve into the depths and bowels of the aforementioned for bits of change he made the passing remark that I should write about that. So I did. To the gals in the Preston Citizen office, SHIRLEY GUNDERSEN, DEONE AUGER, ANN SCHVANEVELDT. AND DEANN GEDDES for their idea on the things people say. My never ending supply of ideas, of course, comes from my family. Each week when I can imagine anything happening that would fill this amount of space, Bob, or Bret or Heather does some outlandish thing that any other time would go unnoticed. If anything, this column has given me a keen sense of awareness of the world around me that before I used to take for granted. Since postage rates remain as high as they do, may I take this form of communication to wish all the kind people who have responded to this column a very merry holiday season. m The Home Front PETERSONS EQUIPMENT A SALES 2531 NORTH I MAIN 5 SERVICE LOGAN, HU NOON UTAH ON SAT.
