Mr. Hoffman found these cousins in 1929 when he fulfilled a mission for the LDS Church. This time Ernest, being very ill, asked the Hoffmans to come. Louise says the country is very beautiful and this was their fourth trip. Mr. Hoffman met with a group of agriculture men at Ettenhouse, a farm, where they discussed improving their dairy herd. They want to do as the farmers do in America.
