Ham-berliLogan, take pleasure in announcing that their daughter, Marie La Nae, will be married to Gerald J. Meier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard G. Meier, Lewiston. The ceremony will be Saturday in the Logan 10th Ward with Bishop Pershing W. Evans officiating. A reception will be held in their honor that evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. All friends and family are invited to attend. Marie is a senior at Logan High School and is employed at Sunshine Terrace. Gerald is a 1973 graduate of Sky View High School and also graduated from Utah Technical College in Salt Lake City. He Is presently n, Anne Minette Massey, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Massey, Granger, became the bride of Nolan Ransom, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Ransom, Lewiston, on Monday, at the Zion Lutheran Church. After the ceremony a reception followed in the terrace room of the church. The grooms parents were hosts to a wedding dinner. The. couple will be further honored with an open house to be held Friday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the Lewiston Second Ward Cultural Hall. An invitation is extended to all relatives and friends to attend. xtheOee& Lois Humphreys of Richmond has had plenty of mouths to feed in her lifetime. She has had nine children three girls and six boys and all, but two of the boys, are married. She and her husband, Don, own their home. Don is a service man and is kept busy fixing everybodys problems. Lois likes an active life and especially enjoys bike riding and playing volleyball. She is magazine director in her ward, a visiting teacher and the Relief Society librarian. Here is a tasty sounding recipe for Stuffed Zucchini that Lois says can either be fixed in the zucchini shell, as in the recipe, or baked in a casserole dish. Coarsley chop zucchini centers. Mix with next eight ingredients. Spoon into shells and top with sauce. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. This make-ahea- er d Beef Carrot Casserole pound ground beef tablespoon butter or margarine 4 cup minced onion 8 oz. cans tomato sauce 2 1 teaspoon salt U teaspoon pepper 1 cup dairy sour cream 1 cottage cheese cup cream-styl- e 4 cup chopped fresh parsley 1 cup sliced cooked carrots 8 ounces medium noodles, cooked and drained 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese Brown beef in melted butter in skillet. When meat begins to turn color, add onion. Saute until meat is well browned. Stir in tomato sauce, salt and pepper. Simmer uncovered for five minutes. Combine cour cream, cottage cheese, parsley and carrots, add to cooked noodles and mix well. Alternate layers of the meat mixture with layers of casserole beginning noodle mixture in greased and ending with noodles. Top with Cheddar cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes or until hot. If frozen heat covered at 400 degrees for one hour or until bubbly. Makes 8 servings. 1 1 6-- For dessert, try these: English Cookies cup shortening 2 cups brown sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon nutmeg Nuts 1 teaspoon soda '2 teaspoon salt 3 cups flour 1 cup raisins 1 teaspoon baking powder 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 cup buttermilk Combine ingredients and drop by spoonfuls onto a well greased cookie sheet.
