DerVoy Superson (as told to Extenda llardy Wellcome) by Laree Bodily Well, it just so happens that Extenda Hardy Wellcome, my secretary, you know, has got herself into so many comings and goings this week that well, I had to come to her place in Sluiceton today to have her go over my column. Thats right, she just didnt even have time to come to my house . . . Theres so many Christmas parties going on. Have you been to any already, yet, Extenda?" "Oh, my yes, DerVoy. Two. Two Christmas dos and its only the middle of December? get ideas for our actual party at Christmas-time- , and believe me, the Templeton Christmas Brainstorm is a lot more fun than the real party three weeks later. "What do you actually do, then, between Christmas and New Years. Extenda? "Between the holidays? Oh. thats when all the parties actually take place. Well, yes, Yes, of course. "Well, to be honest with you, Brother Superson, I cant make it to a one of em! Im usually home in bed, dead-pooped-ou- t." "Yes, and Ive got another one tonight and a planning party tomorrow night, and a Christ-- mas preview session Saturday, and What have you already attended. Sister Wellcome?" "Well, there was the annual Christmas Planning Party in Vache Junction, where we meet n, four merit badges; Dwain Weeks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clark Weeks, received two merit badges; Randon Wheeler, son of Mr. and Mrs. Gary Wheeler, won three merit badges; Ronnie Hansen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Hansen, one merit badge; Kirt Smith, son of Mr. and Mrs. La Vor Smith and plan for the Christmas party. Ive always enjoyed planning party more than real thing not so rushed time and, actually, more eat. LEWISTON Under the direction of Troop 260 Scoutmaster La Vor Smith, former bishop of Lewiston 3rd LDS Ward, a major court of honor was held Sunday at Lewiston 2nd Ward. The following Boy Scouts of America awards were presented: Boyd Bodily, Stanley Bodily, Steven Smith and Cleve Gibbons received Eagle badges, which were presented by district Scout executive Ronald Nyman. The Bodily brothers are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Vertis Bodily, Steven is the son of Mr. and Mrs. La Vor Smith, and Cleves parents are Mr. and Mrs. Don Gibbons. The boys presented their mothers with miniature Eagle pins. Troop committeeman De Loy Baker presented the Life award and three merit badges to Brett Sharp, son of Mr. and Mrs. Willis Sharp; and the Star award and three merit badges to Steven Baker, son of Mr. and Mrs. De Loy Baker. The following boys received First Class rank: Paul Spack-mason of Mr. and Mrs. Rex Spackman, who also was the the for to received three merit badges and two skill awards; Guy Van Dyke, son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Van Dyke, won two merit badges and seven skill awards; Derwin Valerdi, foster son of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Fullmer, gained two merit badges and a skill award; and Mark Dent, son of Mr. and Mrs. La Voir Dent, received three merit badges. ments of the sedulous young men who promise to be winners throughout their lives through hard work, of course.
