They were here to enroll a son, Arthur, at USU. Lynn and Thad Forrester have moved into an apartment in Salt Lake City in order to attend Utah Technical College where Lynn will study electricity and Thad, welding. On Monday all First Ward officers and teachers met for a luncheon meeting at the home of President Faye Bell. There were fifteen ladies present. . Relief Society Clair Merrill was released as a Sunday School teacher and Mrs. Dean McCann was sustained as night Relief Society chorister in sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon. Speakers for the meeting were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Buxton of Mendon. All ladies of the ward are invited to attend the Relief Society opening social to be held Ward chapel in the First-Secon- d Wednesday morning. There will be a program and refreshments. A nursery will be provided for the children. Jo Ann and Larry Bair and daughter visited with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Woodruff during the weekend. Mrs. Phyllis Heaps was delighted with a weekend visit from a very dear friend, Mrs. Helen Moss of Durango, Colo. Wayne Beck has returned home from his summers employment at Jacobs Lake, Ariz. Wayne worked as a short order cook and part time gas station attendant. He reports he enjoy t ed his work; meeting people and taking in the beautiful scenery. Wayne lives with his aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Smith and will attend USU this year. Mr. and Mrs. Glade Mather and family are visiting with hes parents, Mr. and Mrs. Conrad Mather. Glade and family have been living in Flagstaff, Ariz. and are in process of moving to Provo. An important notice to all ward members is the new time for the Fast Day meetings.
