SEPT. 20, 1973 - THE CITIZEN - 3 Sociable Citizen Couple Circles Date For Temple Wedding Mr. and Mrs. LaMar G. the announce forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Valerie, to Ronald J. Nelson Bosworth, son of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bosworth of Logan. The wedding is planned for Friday, Sept. 28, in the Logan LDS Temple. An Open House will be held that evening from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Smithfield Second Ward Cultural Hall. All friends and relatives are invited to attend. No formal invitations are being sent. Valerie is a graduate of Sky View High and Seminary. Ron is a graduate of Logan High and Seminary. The bride is currently employed at Albertsons. Ron is employed at U and I Furniture. After a short honeymoon the newlyweds will reside in Logan. Newton Resident Hospitalized By Leda Sutherland ' Royden Benson is receiving treatment at the LDS Hospital. He has been there since Thursday evening. A speedy recovery is hoped by everyone. An Elders Quorum steak fry was held at the Newton picnic area Saturday evening. A large crowd attended. Hymas will Richmond, and Bruce Hymas, be held Saturday at the Smith-fiel- d Stake Center, between 5 and 8 p.m. The Hymases were married Sept. 19, 1923 in the Logan LDS Temple. They were both born in the Bear Lake area, and lived there until 1938 when they moved to Smithfield. They are the parents of three children, Leo Hymas, Seattle, Geniel Webb, Wash., The couple has 13 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. Mr. and Mrs. Hymas have been active in civic and church activities holding positions in the Smithfield Fourth Ward and in the Stake. They have fulfilled a mission in England. The family invite friends and relatives to the open house, and request there be no gifts. now deceased. Sunday evening sacrament services were held with a special program being presented by Arbon and Chrystal Christiansen of Logan. Arbon was the speaker and then sang a duet with Chrystal and then he sang a solo. A wedding shower in honor of Darla Johnson of Smithfield and Sharon Saltern of Logan was held recently at the home of their aunt, Leda Sutherland. Those assisting with the shower were Ledas sisters, Norma Thompson of Logan, . Vonda Cheney of Brigham, Betty Quayle of Ogden and a sister-in-laMerlene Yonk Johnson of Logan. Darla and Sharon are cousins and both were married Sept. 14 in the Logan Temple. Games were played, lovely refreshments were served and many lovely gifts were received by Darla and Sharon. Smithfield Fourth Ward Family Home Evening was held at the home of Charles Hubbard and wife for their neighbors, Mr. and Mr. Edwin Ruel and Noble, Bernard Hind and Beth Lamb. Thirty-tw- o members of the Herbert Ziegler family got together for a special Family Home Evening Monday night to celebrate the wedding anniversary of the Zieglers.
