Dona Forsgren, Shir lee Keller and Lois Burton have joined a womens bowling league in Preston and will play each Thursday afternoon during the summer. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Pan-te- r spent Thursday in Logan where she had an eye appointment. They did some visiting and shopping. Mr. and Mrs. Preston B of Pocatello visited at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed McGregor and son Jim. Mr. and Mrs. Rulon Burton spent a few days of the past week in Salt Lake City with their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs. Don Workman, who had their young son Todd for a series of tests and at the Primary Childrens Hospital. A large crowd of relatives and friends attended the wedding reception honoring Shau-n- a Andreasen and Preston C. Phelps on June 5 at the Cleveland ward cultural hall. The bride is the daughter of Pres, and Mrs. Dee L. Andreasen. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Chris Phelps of Soda Springs. The couple was turn to her home in New Jersey from Seattle. Visiting the Owen Andreasen are their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Marcum of Salt Lake City, and their son, Jay Andreasen and family of Nevada. Sunday evening at sacrament meeting, Will McGregor was honored before leaving for a mission for the LDS church to Japan. Special numbers on the program were speakers, Willard Mick-elso- n of Provo, Pres. Dee L. Andreasen, a solo by Mrs. Mark Tingey of Pocatello, and remarks by Will and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Weldon McGregor. After the meeting, a buffet style lunch was served to family members and close friends at the McGregor home. Mrs. Florene Williams and children of Soda Springs spent Saturday afternoon visiting her mother, Mrs. Grace Harris. Vicky Panter of Preston spent a few days last week at the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Larin Panter. Mr. and Mrs. LaFaun Johnson attended the Treasureton ward reunion Saturday at the church building. The officers of Cleveland ward Relief Society held Relief Society meeting Thursday with the elderly women at the hospital in Soda Springs. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Panter had dinner Sunday at the Trail in Soda Springs in honor of their 42nd wedding an- el-n- ap niversary. Mrs. McGregor and son have been visiting relatives here the past few weeks. Mr. and Mrs. Angus Condie have been in Burley the past week. Mrs. Arlando Larsen went to Ogden Saturday to attend open house for her uncle, Clarence Corbridge, who is 90 years of age. She accompanied Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Corbridge of Preston. Mr. and Mrs. Bertus Wanner and family were in Salt Lake City last Thursday. They went to Lagoon that day to attend the Dairy Day. Mrs. Eva June Roholt and family of Tooele and a married daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Workman of Stockton, Ut., and Mrs. Eva Wanner of Logan visited June 7 with the Bertus Wanner family.
