Show THE SUMMIT COUNTY BEE 8 Clhurcfi Notes from IDS Wards COALVILLE WAR- D- Sacrament for our Ward was held at 9 a.m. Sunday, and we enjoyed hearing from Bill Judd and Margaret and Newell Chappell. It was good to have these former members of our Ward speak to us. Piano solo, 0 Holy Night by Grant Piercy. We were all very impressed with our new building and enjoyed the dedication services very much. . The MIA is looking forward to presenting our first Sacrament Meeting in the new chapel Christmas Eve. They have been very busy practicing for it. The Mutual Marrieds will hold a caroling party Friday night at 7:30 p.m. Everyone is to meet at the church. It is pot luck and bring a white elephant gift. The Primary has been practicing very hard for their part on the program for the Ward party. We wish to invite all the Ward members out to enjoy Sunday School and Sacrament meeting for our special Christmas programs. The Relief Society has been looking forward to meeting in the lovely room which is to be used by the Relief Society. They enjoyed a lovely lesson by Sister Gloria Judd last week and have been busy planning and preparing for the Ward party. COALVILLE 2n- d- Sacrament Meeting Sunday which was held with the Wan-sh- ip Ward was presented by President Raymond Louder. Kathy Orton played a medley of favorite Christmas songs on the piano. All of the sisters who attended Relief Society December 14 were greatly rewarded for being there. Many of the sisters painted various types of ceramics. Other sisters made very cute Mr. and Mrs. Santa Clauss. A lovely Christmas luncheon was served to all present after which the lessons were given by Violet Staples and Melba Rees. HOYTSVILLE WAR- D- Sacrament Meeting was held later this week due to the dedication services. Speakers at Sacrament Meeting were Joye ' and Robert R. Williams. Two lovely musical numbers were given ty Marselle and Heidi Williams and Helen and Lori Thiriot accompanied by Esther Brown. Louette Sargent was the youth speaker. After the regular Relief Society meeting Tuesday, the sis- ters exchanged gifts and had a lovely luncheon which was under the direction of Jean Sargent and Carolyn Winters, Helen Osmond and Carol Hobson. The Ward Christmas party was held Tuesday night. The program was presented by the Primary, under the direction of Marjie Judd. After performing, the children had a special visit from Santa Claus. Santa also gave each child a sack of candy. A large number of Ward members attended the beautiful dedication services of the new Summit Stake Center Sunday. Many Ward members sang in the combined chorus and the Relief Society chorus for the services. Also Sister Dianne Wilde did a lovely job playing the organ for the services. The Bishopric would like to remind Ward members of tith Coalville, Utah ing settlement to be held Wednesday, December 27 from 6 to 9 p.m. and December 30 from 3 to 8 p.m. There is a place provided on the church bulletin Thursday, December 21, 1972 board to make your appointment. The Bishopric would also like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. |
