Mr. Hoyt was principal of Marion Elementary School beKAMAS, fore coming to South Summit. She weighed 8 lb. and will be named Lynae. She has one brother, Brian. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Frank Atkinson, Francis; and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Warnick of Pleasant Grove. Two great grandmothers are Mrs. Geneva Warnick of Pleasant Grove and Mrs. Woodward of Franklin, Idaho. and former Mr. Hoyt of the event, a clerk president at the Utah State Fair and a member of the Summit County Fair Board. A graduate of Utah State University, Mr. Hoyt was a native of Marion, Summit County. He was born May 25. 1911, to Joseph U. and Sarah Jane Johnston Hoyt. On June 7. 1935, he married Irene Sheranian in Salt Lake City. Ken is an Air Force R.O.T.C. cadet at the Utah State University. He has his pilots license and was doing some cross-count- ry flying. When the couple left the airport at Logan the weather was beautiful and sunny but when they arrived at Hoytsville, preparatory to landing at the small air field on the outskirts of Wanship, a severe thunderstorm hit the area and there were some very tense moments until Ken was able to set the plane down safely, Ken and Connie stayed on to have dinner at the home of his parents in Hoytsville.
