He was married to Winifred Lee, 1914, Hoytsville. Member Presbyterian Church; Coalville Lions Club past president; Little Theatre group past president. Be sure to be there, Friday, January 21, following the South Happy Birthday KAMA- S- Curt and Lucille Lewis recently returned from a trip to Arizona with their daughter Hope and husband Dale Hortin. They went by way of the Glen Canyon Dam and toured the dam, then on to Mesa where they visited with friends, Mr. and Mrs. Bert Sorensen and family who were former residents of Kamas and very close friends of the Lewis'. They also visited with Lorraine Zieve and son Jack and family. While in Mesa and Phoenix, they spent some time sightseeing, and going through the Mesa Temple. They returned by way of Las Vegas where they spent some time, then on to Hoover Dam where they made a tour of the dam, and enjoyed a boat ride on the lake. The weather was not too warm in Arizona but the orange trees which could be seen in very direction were loaded with oranges, which was a beautiful sight. Ted Hallam, Blair Maxwell, Cory J. Father Is Dead Cornelius Van Roosendaal Sympathy is extended to Martin VanRoosendaal on the death of his father, Cornelius VanRoosendaal, 55, of Salt Lake City. Martin is Superintendent for State Parks and Recreation in the Morgan-Summ- it area and is a deputy to Sheriff Mike Evans. He was based at East Canyon last summer and at Wanship this winter. Sheriff and Mrs. Evans attended the viewing in Salt Lake on Tuesday evening. Roscoe Andrus Dies in Kamas MARION - T. Roscoe Andrus, 60, died Jan. 15 in Kamas. He was born Oct. 10, 1911, Holladay, to Joseph B. and Harriet Stevenson Andrus. Married Winifred Rex, Nov. 22, 1941, Mesa LDS Temple. Mr. Andrus was a rancher, owner Bar-W- in Shavings, Kamas; Bishop Marion LDS Ward, 12 years. Member South Summit District School Board, 8 years; Summit South Stake LDS High Council, 7 years; tary Marion Lower Ditch Co., 20 years. Survivors: widow; sons, Mrs. Reinhard daughters, (Irene) Ruf ,Salt Lake City; Ilene Provo; Marlene, serving LDS England Mission; Mrs. Lambert H.
