Mrs. Marguerite Paskett en- joyed a short visit last Tuesday morning from her granddaughter and family, Gary and Susan Gam Taylor and baby who visited with her enroute to Oak- relatives. The Amboyds played on the March of Dimes telerama Jan. 28 appearing between six and seven ajn. They met the King Sisters and Alvlno Ray and had a very enjoyable time. They played at a dance in Park City Saturday night and then went on to Salt Lake accompanied by Jack and Dot Winchester, Donna and Roy Olsen and Ron Wheadon. They were guests at foe home of Steve's grandmother, Anna and Bill Durrant. Members of the combo are Steve Paskett, Billy Larson, Lane Bune and Lee .Olson. Mrs. Susannah Foster at- tended the marriage ceremony in foe Salt Lake Temple Jan. 26 for Claudia Richins and Van Nelson. She accompanied her granddaughters Mary Fawcett and Lorraine Chappell to Salt Lake and the Temple. Attending foe entire session with foe bride and groom were Norman and Leola Richins and Veda Brooks program was presented at evening service in tumor of scout week which has been this past week. The program was under foe direction of Sheldon Richins and Eillene Richins who took the part of foe father and mother in the services with RaeDell Richins as foe sister and Russell Bond as foe young son ready to start in cub scout work. The new Mr. and Mrs. Williams greeted guests at a wedding reception in the Hoytsville Ward Cultural Hall. The hall was beautifully decorated in Christmas motif, with a large white flocked Christmas Tree trimmed with red roses and red and white birds. Tiny white lights, and wreaths added to the decorations around the hall. th The bride was lovely in a gown of French crepe with a bodice of sculptured lace and long train. Her shoulder length veil of illusion was caught at the crown with a white crepe rose and lace. She carried a bouquet of white roses accented with touches of holly and tiny red ornaments. Bridal attendants were lovely th in berry red velveteen gowns, and carried nosegays of red and white roses. Attending the bride were Mrs. Baxter Camp, sister to the bride, Miss Quincy Lindsey, Miss Julia Underwood, Miss Heidi Williams, and flowergirl. The couple was wedding poin-setti- Miss Angela Pace. The Stoddards are living in Bountiful. full-leng- 'Snow Frolic Daddy Date "Snow Frolic" was the theme for the annual Primary daddy- -, daughter date which was held Saturday in the Henefer Ward recreation hall. White flocked trees and gay snowmen decorated the tables where the ten and eleven year old girls danced and ate with their favorite men, their daddies. A duet, "Winter Wonderland" was iuifiby Connie Warburton and Diane Louder and the contortions of Donald Dawson and Bob Dahls as they played Twister provided the entertainment. High spot of the evening was the dancing of Rounds and the Virginia Red where the girls "outdanced" their daddies. The entire evening of fun was under the direction of Stake Primary leader Ella Adkins and the directors from each ward. The friends of Thora Lam- bert who was the postmistress for soma time will be sorry to know aha had the misfortune of breaking her leg on the ice while returning from work. She is hospitalized at the LJUS. Hospital in Salt Lake, on the same floor as Lettra Lott enabling the two old friends to do a lot of reminiscing. Miss Julie Colton of BYU and Miss Renas Colton, along with her friend Miss Maja Dambah of Sweden, who are students nurses at LDS were home over the weekend visiting parents and friends. On returningtoher training Renae has had some painful surgery; twice before when the bridge of her nose collapsed .necessitating braces which proved a most tedious operation. Bill Hoyt is home from the hospital and is doing well. KAMAS PERSONAL Kitchen Karnival party was held last Tuesday during MIA for the Mia Maids, Laurels, Explorers and Ensigns and was a great success as the young people played games and ate food from the countries of Finland, Canada and from Hawaii. Everyone wore a lei and learned to do the hula as taught by Sheryl Ovard. Games from Finland were directed by Brent Ovard and the ones from Canada by Jay Ovard. The main dish was a Finnish dish, foe rolls were a Canadian recipe and the fruit salad and punch was an Hawaiian dish. Brent, Jay and Sheryl along with Mrs. Fern Ferry were in charge of the evenings entertainment. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Wilde Mrs. Dwayne Wilde accompanied their grandson Darwin Wilde, who has Just been released from the service where ha spent one year in Viet Nan), back to Salt Lake City where he will visit his mother, Mrs. and Ruby Wilde Webb who is in foe hospital with a broken ankle. He plans to visit his father Vernon Wilde in Cheyenne, Wyoming in foe near future. Ethel Larson called her sister Mrs. Gladys Dearden Sunday from her home in Arizona. Gladys was happy to hear her voice and visit with her a few minutes. Ethel's health is still not too good and she has to go to the hospital three tines a week for treatments. Blaine and Lupe Dearden are making their home temporarily with Blaine's parents, Gladys and LaVern Dearden until their new home is completed. The State Road has rented foe Beard house and lot where Blaine and Lupe were living for their offices and their new home is not quite completed yet. Jim and Janis Nowling and daughter have moved to Henefer and are living in the home where Bob and Dorene Rowser use to live.
