Show The Paper That Dares To Take A Stand .The October if GFIR Reprinted From Life Line by KEITH KATHAN The US Senate has consented to another bloody chapter in the history of the American Republic. Henry Kissinger has been confirmed as Secretary of State, a legislative action as mindless of the human hunger for liberty and possession of property as the income tax, busing, the growth of bureaucracy and the fattening of one's announced assassin through treasonous trade. There will be perpetual war for perpetual peace. The Russians will grow in strength, on nourishing American technology, food and a desire of American leaders to manifest some mystical deathwish for all liberty. For those who as yet do not the understand, scheme of American politics is structured to create confusion. Not violently, but slowly. How else can one the constant repetition of explain illogical events? The Soviet Union is a declared enemy, with a billion slaves as proof. Yet, we have traded with her for 50 years, and we have now agreed to be number two in military strength. Trade with Russia is at an all time high. The progress of insanity is seen in detente with an avowed enemy dedicated to destruction' of the United States as a nation-stat- e. Henry Kissinger is Secretary of State of that nation-stat- e to be, as it and were, Said he in 1965: Institutions based on present concepts of national sovereignty are not enough," adding that the ultimate goal of a supranational world community' will not come quickly... It is not too early, however, to prepare ourselves for this step beyond the nation-state- ." And what nation, one should ask, is given the right, by virtue of American aid and trade, to pursue the extremes of sovereignty - the Soviet Union. Our policy is to deter a Rhodesia, shun a South Africa, and to strengthen Russia through trade and aid while the world still remembers the bloody execution of all freedoms by Russia in all of Eastern Europe, Cuba. The inhabitants of Hue and Tibet. The freedom fighters of Hungary and Czechoslovakia. Sovereignty is for Communist nations: Taiwan is out; Red China is in. The direction of the Kissinger policy is hardly obscure: sovereignty for the Soviet; slavery for How could the structure help but confirm Mr. Kissinger? CFR club members on the Foreign Relations Committee are Church, Symington, Pell, McGee, Humphrey, Case and Javits, seven of 17! Mr. Muskie is a hero of the Americans Socialist for Action (as is Humphrey) so he is more than sympathetic. Mr. Scott is not listed as a CFR member but he is a consummate politician, another way of saying he does not buck the Democratic machine. Thus, non-CF- R Senators on the Committee are no problem. The Senate, then and now, went through the motions. Notice, however, it did little of practical use for freedom. State won. The Senate, however marginally helpful, did produce a library of its findings on the Cuba and Otepka case. As for freedom, who won? Castro has Cuba. The CFR still has the Times, the government and Henry Kissinger. Enter Vietnam, a horrid replay of Korea. Together, the two wars cost 100,000 American lives. Cause of death: Soviet technology given by Western powers, but mostly by the United States. Eight of the nearly 100 ships docking in North Vietnam were of US hull construction. The North Vietnamese used Soviet trucks- - , the in the bureaucracy. Otepka, Chief not of common ammunition and rocket propellant, is made from cotton, wood pulp or other cellulose byproducts. That's not even a dent in the story. The original process for producing nitrocellulose was as American as the Hercules Powder Company of Wilmington, Del., which sold the process to Russia in 1930. That was, irony overfloweth, the year Ho Chi Minh organized a Moscow training center for Asiatic Communists who would sire sons to kill Americans in Vietnam with nitrocellulose made available by good old American stupidity, and carried to the front by trucks made Communists to power. He had to be silenced and was, and today, we still suffer from his censure. Tearing the national fabric, the desegregation case was handed down from the Supreme Court which used as the sociological foundation of its decision An American Dilemma written by Swedish socialist Gunnar Myrdal. The work, quoted in the decision, was financed by the Carnegie Corp., long a haven for CFR members (Hiss was President of the Corporations Endowment for International Peace in 1947) and a ready source of cash for causes. Not too oddly, the Carnegie Corporation also financed the Council on Foreign Relations and the Institute for Pacific Relations whose members in the out of the State Department played a large role in handing the Chinese Mainland to Communist Mao Tse-tun- g.
