Show 3 afternoon of cards. Those attending were Mrs. Melvin Hansen, Mrs. Gerald Altken, Mrs. Oscar Erickson, Mrs. William Paxman, Mrs. Ada Sorensen, Mrs. Dean Rose, Mrs. Ed Webb and a special guest, Mrs. Ronald Bray. Prizes were won by Mrs. Hansen, Mrs. Altken, Mrs. Erickson and Mrs. Paxman. CUUbWKEPOOTSj Bridge Club The Christmas party for the Bridge Club was held last Tuesday evening at a down town cafe. A turkey dinner was served at 7:30 p.m. Miniature Santas and lighted candles gave a festive air to the dining table. Members exchanged gifts and cards were enjoyed, with Bridge providing the diversion. First prize was won by Alliene Farren, thecut by Jean Giles the honor prize, Jeanine Johnson and the consolation by Ina Clement. Others attending were: Mar-Jea- n Finch, Alice Peart, Minnie Painter and Irma Gourley. Afternoon 500 The Five Hundred Club met last Thursday afternoon at the home of Mrs. Brennan Hannifin. A tasty luncheon was served at 1:00 p.m. followed by an Sunday Visit Sunday's a great day to call long Distance. Folks are at home. Rates are low all day. MOUNTAIN Modem Mrs. The Modem Mrs. Club held the annual Christmas party last Wednesday evening. They met at the home of Mrs. Ray Badertscher for a social hour, before going to a down town cafe for dinner. After the dinner they returned to the Badertscher home for an evening of Bridge, and an exchange of gifts. High score was won by Mrs. Frank McCabe, the cut prize, Mrs. Ted Johnson and the consolation, Mrs. James Mtith. Others attending the nicely arranged party were Mrs. Joseph Bernini, Mrs. Darrell Franks. Mrs. Jerald Drussel, Mrs. FJovd Evans and Mrs. Curtis Butler. . Ladles of E?ks Ladies of Elks observed the holiday season with their annual banquet Tuesday evening in the club rooms. The executive com mlttee consisting of President Thelma Roberts; vice president Marie Evans; secretary, MarJ e a n Finch and secretary, Maxine Schow, were in charge of the arrangements for the evening. Dinner was served at 8:00 oclock and pine cones, candles and Christmas ornaments were used in the table decorations. Members . exchanged gifts, and the gifts were placed under a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, which helped the group get into the Christmas spirit. Canasta, Bingo and Bridge furnished the evenings entertainment. Prizes were won by Paulette Carpenter, Dora Randle and Patricia Brady. members attended Thirty-tw- o the nicely arranged party. YIqivA Newman of Dugway spent the weekend here visiting with her mother, Mrs. A. L. Broderick and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Gourley, Sr., and Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Laird. On Sunday the Dugway visitors were dinner guests at the Hamilton Laird home. Mr. and Mrs. James Toone Mrs. Lucille Knotts and son, Carl, and Mrs. Olive Carlson drove to Orem Monday afternoon where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Gayle Carlson and family. Later in the day the Carlsons joined the Eure-kaand they made a trip to Salt Lake City on a shopping trip and to see the Christmas lights. ns and Mw.
