Show THE EUREKA (UTAH) REPORTER December 23, 1960 Page Three Literary dub holds Christmas party The Entre Nous Literary Club held the annual Christ- mas party Wednesday evening at Lucilles Lounge. Dinner was served at 6:30 and the table decorations consisted of a centerpiece with a miniature Christmas tree as the focal point banked with sprigs of holly, interlaced with red candles, a Santa Claus, a sleigh and reindeer. The overall picture was especially interesting. Favors consisted of nut cups made in the form of snow LEE'S men. The members exchanged gifts Centennial Development Co. VARIETY STORE and enjoyed several games of Bingo. Attending were Mrs. Maude McIntyre, Mrs. Steele McIntyre, Mrs. Leonard Ryan, Mrs. Frank Gear, Mrs. Curtis Butler, Mrs. Robert Thomas, Mrs. Elysabeth Franke, Mrs. V. L. Anderson, Mrs. Ethel Donnelly, Mrs. Myrtle Theriault, Mrs. Leslie Randle, Mrs. Roger Banghart, Mrs. Floyd Nash, and Mrs. Jack Andrew. Christmas party Tintic Chapter No. 18, OES held its regular meeting Monday, Dec. 15. oWrthy Matron Ethel Brenton president and was assisted by Worthy Patron Ted Johnson. Regular order of business was transacted. After the close of the meeting the annual Christmas party was held. Singing of carols, under direction of Mabel Butler was enjoyed. Reader was Georgia B. Roach, who read the Christmas Story from Luke and also the modern version of the Christmas Story. A beautifully lighted Christmas tree made the event very memorable. Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Nash served delicious refreshments. The tables were centered with holly and berries with a center piece of holly. Lighted candles, flanked by flaming molded coffee cakes made a beautiful sight in the darkened dining room. Several games of cards were d played with Airs. Wm. the winning high score, Airs. Don Hopes the all-cand Airs. Charles Warren, consolation. At the conclusion of the card games, a pot luck dinner was served and the members exchanged gifts. Table decorations carried out the Christmas theme. Attending were those mentioned and Mrs. Fred Laird, Airs. Wm. Alorris, Mrs. Richard Laird, Mrs. Bob Robinson and Airs. Max Berry.
