Attending were Mr. and Mrs. Whitford Bate and family of Provo, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Stokes and family of Orem and Mrs. E. A. Stokes. Mrs. Clara Jerman returned last week, after spending the past several months in Long Beach, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Jameson and daughter, JoLynn, were in Payson on aSturday spending the day with Mrs. Jamesons mother, Mrs. Matilda Bills. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Passey of Ely, Nevada was here over the weekend visiting with her mother, Mrs. Alma Dry borough. They returned to Ely on Eldie Childs, who is employed in Salt Lake, spent the weekend here with his family. Other guests at the Childs home on Sunday were Mr. and Mrs. George (Delone) Hall and their four children. Its Mr. Hack Miller, sports columnist of Salt Lake, visited with the Senior Class at Tintlc high school Tuesday and met each member personally. Mr. and Mrs. George Forsey spent Sunday in Provo and were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Garth Manson. Other family members attending were Mr. and Mrs. George F. Forsey and children and Mr. and Mrs. Gary Forsey and family. Later in the day the group called at the home of Mrs. George W. Forseys mother, Mrs. Zina Pratt to wish her a happy mother's day, as well as to extend birthday wishes to her. Mrs. Pratt suffered some broken ribs in a fall a few weeks ago and has been confined to her home since that time, but Mrs. Forsey reports she is doing nicely. L. Evans and Mr. and Mrs. fcarl Batty. Mr. and Mrs. E. R. Rasmuson of Provo, visited on Sunday at the home of a son, Mr. and Mrs. Mahlon Rasmuson. Mr. and Mrs. Ladd Broderick and son, Alan of Delta were in town on Sunday visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Hamilton Laird and Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall were in Cedar City over the weekend visiting with Rev. and Mrs. Raymond L. Wilson. They also had a chance to visit with a son of the Wilsons, Jerry E. Boyns, who is visiting with his parents. Jerry has just recentseven months ly. completed study at the Navy's electronics school at Treasure Island in San Francisco Bay. He finished second high in his class and was given the rank of ETSN (Electronis Technician.) At the end of his leave he will fly to Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where he will be assigned to the USS Walker, a destroyer escort stationed at Pearl Harbor. He joined the Navy after graduating from Cedar City high school in 1956. Mrs. Wilson will be remembered as the former Lelah Boyns, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. H. . Wall, a former resident of ' Eureka and Dividend. Jerry attended school here for several years before moving to Cedar City with his family. Charlene Sandstrom, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Sandstrom, is recuperating at her home following a tonsilectomy performed last Thursday. Charlene thinks she is entitled to some publicity as well as Bonnie Prince Charles" and we think so too. Sirs. William Bate of Provo was an over-nigguest on at home the Mr. and of Tuesday Mrs. Vern Nevers.
