President Naomi Cushing presiding. After the business of the meeting had been disposed of, the evening was turned into a social time, and cards were enjoyed, with Mrs. Cushing winning high score; Ina Clement, the all-cand Mrs. Fawn Fife, the raffle' prize. The Mikesells son, Richard has recently returned from French Morocco, where he has been with the U.S. Air Corp. The dinner honored him and the mothers in the group. ian Service met at the home of Mrs. Vola Nevers. Preceding the meeting a 1:30 p.m. luncheon was served. Fifteen members were present The doxology was sung at the table and the business meeting opened withthe group repeating the Lord's Prayer. After a short business meeting, the following officers were installed for the coming year, with Vola Nevers as installing officers. President, LaVon Ryan; vice president Virginia Randle; secretary, Mabel Butler; treasurer, Rowena Hanks. The following secretaries were also installed: Promotion, Volo Nevers; Missionary education, Virginia Randle; Spiritual Life, Myrtle Theriault; supply, Rowena Hanks; Youth, Patricia Brady; children, Elsie Nilson; student, Alliene Farren; Statutes of Women, Elizabeth Morris; Literature & Publication, Frances Ewell. Other members attending were Annie Smith, Elizabeth Stokes, Annie Vivian, Ada Randle, Edith Pendray. Next meeting will be held on Thursday, May 23, at the home of Mrs. Rowena Hanks. 51 ed for further visiting with her U Sc daughter and Mrs. Florence Potts spent last Wednesday in P&yson with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Adams and Mrs. Grace Wight- - , man. son-in-la- w. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Jensen and two children of Kearns, and Mr. and Mrs. Rostrom and small son of Midvale were here for Mothers Day. They visited with Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Rostrom in Mammoth and in Eureka .Mr. and Mis. Earl Potts and daughter, Sheila and Miss Mildred Davis made a trip on Sunday to Artesia, Colo. They also stopped in Vernal and visited the Museum there. Another stop was made' in Roosevelt, where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Morell Labrum and Mr. and Mrs. Dick Adams. Enroute home they made another stop in Goshen, where they visited with Mr. and Mrs. Denton Finch (Betty Davis) and fam- , with Mr. and Mrs. Charles War ren. Mr. and Mrs. Don Hopes and three children were in town over the weekend visiting with her mother, Mrs. Clara Jermaa. Mr. Hopes is employed in Lander, Wyoming by the Centennial Development Company. ily. The Butlers returned home Sunday night, but Mrs. Randle remain- - Mr. and Mrs. George F. For-ae- y and family of Salt Lake spent the weekend here with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George W. Forsey.
