Dinner will be served from p.m. and cost will be $2.00 a plate. All Veteran's and their guests and families are invited. The public is also 7-- 8 welcome. Gifts for the gift shop at the Salt Lake Veteran's hospital will be accepted at that time, also. 500 Deana May Alired to wed Alan R. Wilcken Mr. and Mrs. Delos Allrd. Magna, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Deana May, to Alan Rudolph Wilcken, son of Mr. and Mrs. R. Craig Wilcken, Roosevelt The young couple will be married at the Pleasant Green Ward house in Magna, on Nov. II . They will be honored at a reception that evening. An open house is planned for the couple to be held in Roosevelt at a later date. CLUB SATURDAY Mr. and Mrs. Allan Ashton hosted the Duchesne 500 club Saturday evening. A dessert luncheon was served. High prize was won by Mr. and Mrs. Neil Moon and low went to Mr. and Mrs. Jim Cowan. NEIGHBORHOOD SEWING Mrs. Parley Rawlings entertained the Sewlne Club Wednesday Bill were Mrs. Guests evening. Harris and Mrs. Kathy Coradver. A dessert luncheon was served and an enjoyable evening was spent doing hand work and visiting. Neighborhood Myton DUP holds meet The Myton Daughters of Utah Pioneers met Friday at the home of Mrs. Anna Murray. Mrs. Ruth Murray gave the lesson on the early hotels. Wedding Perkins-Baldwi- n The Logan IDS Temple was the site of the wedding of Miss Joan Perkins and Reed Baldwin on November 3. Parents of the young couple are Mr. and Mrs . Tneo Perkins, Roosevelt, and Mr. and Mrs. Ivean Baldwin, Wells vllle. A wedding dinner was held at the Loft House following the ceremony. The newlyweds were honored at an open house that evening in Logan and were further honored at a reception Saturday evening at the Roosevelt Stake Center. The line stood before a silver backdrop draped with purple chiffon. This was centered by a green archway. Lighted pillars were at each side and were topped by urns filled with flower arrangements of lavender and purple flowers. For her wedding the bride wore a floor-leng- th gown of glitter satin with tucks and lace on the bodice and in panels oo the skirt. It featured long sleeves and a high neckline. Her lace-edgveil of Illusion was chapel length and she carried a bouquet of a huge orchid surrounded by rosebuds and carnations. Matron of honor was a sister, Mrs. Mar-Io- n Snow, Maid of honor was Miss Barbara Houton. Bridesmaids were Judy Baldwin, Ruth Ann Henderson, Marjean Summers Vickie Johnson and Klmberly Baldwin They wore long purpfe skirts with pink blouses and their flowers were pink roses and carnatlos.
