Everyone Is Invited to these dances. A live orchestra will furnish the music for these dances. A nominal admittance charge Is made. Three D Club Mrs. Lynn Labrum entertained the 3D club at her residence Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Edward Yack and Mrs. Ward Mul-fo- rd were guests. A delicious luncheon was enjoyed and bridge and played. The prizes were won by Mrs. Yack and Mrs. Jay Cates. Parrish, all of Roosevelt. Miss Truman was graduated from Union hlEh school where she was active In Pep Club, Chamber Choir and was a four-ye- ar Seminary graduate. Storey former residents of Duchesne, announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Suzanne to Ron Taylor, son of Mr. and Mrs. James L. Taylor of Duchesne. The Bride-to-graduated from Uintah high school with the class of '70 where she was president of FHA and a candidate for Homecoming queen. Ron Taylor, graduated from Duchesne high school with the class of 67. He served two years In Guatemala on an LDS Mission. The couple has set September 18 as their wedding date In th Salt Lake Temple. She wore a floor length dress of fine nylon net over taffeta the top was nylon lace covered, empire style with a high neck. The long sleeves were nylon with fitted lace around the wrist. The long train was fastened above the waist with two tiny bows fastened with little pearls. She wore a matching shoulder length veil. She carried a bouquet of white orchid surrounded with yellow roses and white pom poms and yellow ribbon. Karma chose as her matron of honor her sister, Mrs. Ray Fisher. Her bridesmaids were Mrs. Kick Stevenson, Mrs. Robert Hunt, Miss Lee Anna Mathews, Mrs. Ralph Thacker, MlssTeena Timothy. Their dresses were made of yellow crepe with green lace over bodice and sleeves. Their bouquets were yellow and white pom poms with yellow ribbon. Her flower girls were her nieces , Debbie Fisher and Sally Joe Thacker. Their dresses were made of daisy lace over yellow cotton. They carried baskets of yellow and white pom poms with yellow ribbon. Curtis, Eugene, Oregon; Martin R. Curtis, Jr., Lancaster, Calif., and 7 grandchildren. Both Mr. and Mrs. Curtis were born at Fort Duchesne, and were residents of Fort Duchesns until moving to California In 1952. Mr. Curtis was postmaster until 1943 when he entered the Indian Service at Fort Duchesne. Mrs. Curtis was appointed postmaster In October, 1943 and served until June of 1952. They were active In the American Legion Post No. 64 of Roosevelt, and also the Masonic Lodge and Eastern Star. retired OPEN TO EVERYONE! The couple, residents of North Highlands, Calif., since June of 1952 are Mr. retired Civil Service employees.
